Our goal is to help your pet live the healthiest life possible. With annual and semi-annual examinations, problems can be identified, treated and prevented. We outline a health plan that includes diet, dental care, exercise, diagnostics and vaccinations and we work with you every step of the way as needs change.
Life is full of the unexpected and we’re absolutely here to help. Should there be an emergency during our regular hours, just give a call or come on over. As your neighborhood clinic, we want you to walk right in when your pet is in need of our care and we’ll do everything we can to restore things back to normal. If something happen after hours, we’re blessed with some really terrific 24 hour hospitals very close by. We’ll know you’ve been there before you get the chance to say so, and we’ll work together with the emergency hospital to provide the best follow up care should any be necessary.
We understand that keeping your pet happy is also important to keeping them healthy. Exercise and interaction is important for the emotional, as well as physical well-being of all our species. Our staff is trained to help ensure that your pet’s needs are being met and to help guide you in addressing behavioral issues as they arise.
Advances in veterinary medicine are helping our pets to live longer and healthier lives. We provide the most updated lab testing, diagnostics, supplements, diet, exercise recommendations and care to allow your older pet the best possible quality of life.
Non-invasive tools are incredibly helpful when treating our patients who can’t tell us where it hurts. Our facility is equipped with two digital imaging systems, one for dental and oral imaging and the other for body imaging. These systems can help us identify the cause of your pet’s discomfort, whether a broken tooth, or a broken bone, or perhaps a swallowed coin. An in –house ultrasound machine is often used for imaging your pet’s abdominal organs and heart. We work closely with Board Certified Specialists to help conduct and review these studies when needed.
We perform a full range of soft tissue surgical procedures ranging from spaying and neutering to mass removals, laceration repair to gastro-intestinal and abdominal surgery. Our equipment is state of the art and each patient monitored with mechanical monitors and their own technician to ensure the safest anesthetic procedure possible. Labwork is run prior to each procedure to minimize risk to our patients and analgesic medications are used to ensure the comfort that aids in healing. Phonecalls to Mom and Dad, soft blankets, and lots of love help make this day easier than you fear.
Have you smelled your pet’s breath lately? How often does he brush his teeth? Maintaining a healthy mouth is extremely important to your pet’s overall wellbeing. Comprehensive dental examinations and dental procedures both to clean teeth, perform necessary extractions and address underlying issues are super important. A sore mouth can make your pet very unhappy. We’ll help change that and show you how to make sure the problem doesn’t return. We educate our clients to brush daily to help prevent or at least slow the progression of dental disease.
