Her desire to bring high quality veterinary care to one of Boston’s favorite neighborhoods led to the founding of Back Bay Veterinary Clinic in 2000. With a big heart and a soft touch for her patients and their families, Pam leads the team and constantly strives to bring the highest quality and most progressive care to the practice. A staunch believer in preventive medicine and dental health, she will assure you that your pet is getting the best care possible. Dr. Bendock finds the human animal bond fascinating and believes that animals are some of our best teachers. Dr. Jou has quickly earned herself a loyal following and has become a very important part of our practice. An astute clinician with tremendous skill and patience, Rita is a favorite of patients and staff alike. Dr. Jou’s medical interests include soft-tissue surgery, behavior, nutrition, and preventive health. Off hours, Rita enjoys travelling with friends and family. She has lived in Boston for 10 years and currently resides in Beacon Hill with her husband and pets.Read More
Beth received her undergraduate and veterinary degree from Cornell University. She also completed a rotating internship in medicine and surgery at Purdue University. When not practicing veterinary medicine, you can find Beth practicing yoga or spending time with the men in her life - her husband, two young sons and her goofy Labrador Retriever.Read More

After spending time at Angell Animal Medical Center, Massachusetts Veterinary Referral and an Emergency Practice in Connecticut, Emma arrived in the Back Bay and joined our team in early 2014. Alison initially started as a physical therapist for post-operative canine patients and eventually transitioned to a Veterinary Technician 4 years ago. She enjoys hiking and kayaking and spoiling her adorable fury feline companion Cleo. She is also a member of the Boston based dance company Project Nailz.Read More

Born and raised in New York City, Kate graduated from Sarah Lawrence College in 1985 with a BA in Theatre and Writing. She attended the New York School of Dog Grooming in 1991, worked at Amsterdog Groomers in New York and joined our team in July 2001.
